NATIONAL POLLUTION CONTROL DAY – 02.12.2025

National Pollution Control Day was observed by the NCC Unit of Arasu Engineering College on 2nd December 2025 to create awareness about reducing pollution and protecting the environment. The program focused on educating cadets and the public about the harmful effects of pollution on health and nature.

A total of 38 cadets participated in the event. As part of the observance, cadets carried out cleaning activities near local water bodies, removing plastic waste and debris to prevent water pollution. A drawing competition was also organized on the theme “Reduce Pollution, Save Earth”, where cadets expressed their ideas on environmental protection through creative artwork.

The efforts of the cadets highlighted the need for responsible behavior towards nature. The cleaning drive improved the surroundings of the water bodies, while the drawing competition spread awareness in a creative way. Both activities encouraged cadets to become active contributors to a pollution-free environment.

The event successfully created awareness about pollution control among participants and the local community. It reinforced the NCC’s dedication to environmental conservation and inspired everyone to adopt eco-friendly practices for a cleaner, healthier future.
