AICTE has taken various quality initiatives for improving the employability of technical students and one of them is the mandatory “Student Induction Programme” (SIP). Its purpose is to make the students feel comfortable in their new environment, set a healthy daily routine, create bonding in the batch as well as between faculty and students. Different levels of Faculty development workshops are to be conducted to train the teachers. Faculty have to go through a 3-day Level-0 workshop and a 7-day Level-1 workshop to be eligible to handle the student induction program.
